GREEN GAME Workshop

GREEN GAMES Workshop is organised by the School of Computing, Creative Technologies and Engineering of Leeds Beckett University. It is intended to discuss game based learning to promote green skills in apprentice training schemes and to disseminate and create more knowledge on GLOBE Intellectual Outputs.

 GLOBE is an Erasmus+ supported project entitled “New Skills for Green Jobs. Game Based Training to Develop Transversal Green Skills in Apprenticeship Programmes (GLOBE)”. It is led by Institutul National De Cercetare Stiintifica In Domeniul Muncii Si Protectiei Sociale in Romania (https://www.competenteverzi.ro). The project partnership is formed by six different institutions coming from five European countries (Romania, Spain, Ireland, Italy and UK).

The GREEN GAMES workshop aims to present the results obtained within the GLOBE project. Besides, this event will be used to obtain feedback form different actors interested in green skills (green economy), work-linked training and the use of games in training process:

  • Work-linked training providers (and apprentice),

  • Employment centres,

  • Experts in games for learning,

  • Green skills,

  • Green economy,

  • Organisations for employment;

  • Enterprises – companies;

  • VET organisations,

  • Transversal competences in VET curricula, and

  • Innovation in training,

  • Universities,

  • Researchers,

Workshop will also be open to other direct and indirect beneficiaries as social actors and other public administrations. The objective is to obtain as much opinions and contributions from different actors to improve our research.
